For the record...new users who have problems validating their license are not entering both the license key and identifier correctly. Use Copy/Paste to transfer the license key from your My Purchases are of your profile to the license verification dialog in BYE/BYN. The Identifier field is the account login username that you used when you got the license. If you enter them correctly, the license will verify.

I use Windows 10, that's already punishment enough ;-)))))
My W-Lan, I have turned off in the rule. I then started my W-Lan and started the software as administrator, then everything went smoothly!

Could test yesterday and I'm excited, controlling the recordings perfectly and dithering too!

You should not have to run BYE As Administrator. This is not normal and may be an indication that Windows 10 has changed permissions on some folders that BYE uses.

Running BYE As Administrator could affect other programs that BYE interacts with. For example, PHD or MetaGuide for guiding or AstroTortilla for plate solving, or ASCOM drivers.

You might try removing BYE and re-installing it to a different directory (using a different directory is important) to see if it allows you to run with normal permissions.
