New computer won't accept license key

BEA

Question

Hello:

I purchased the BY EOS Premium 3.1.6 back on Feb. 16, 2017, but it doesn't show up on "My Purchases" page of your website.

I've been using the program a lot since then, but now that computer it was on crashed, so I bought a new laptop with windows 10 and went to your website, signed in and downloaded the program again. The license key is not on your site, but I had saved it from my original install and now I try to insert the key in the program I downloaded and I get the error "License Validation error!"

Can you check to see why my key and purchase is not on your website, then instruct me as to how I should proceed. I'm going to be doing some astrophotography next week and I need this program!!!!

Please get back to me ASAP.

Thank you,
Bruce Adams (BEA)

Bruce,

The most likely reason that the purchase is not shown in your My Purchases area of the O'Telescope web site is that you used a different logon account when you purchased BYE. It is a common issue that users who don't visit the site often forget their logon credentials. One thing that you do not want to do, until this is sorted out is to use your BEA logon to get another trial. The most likely reason why you are getting the validation error is because you are not entering the same identifier that was used to make the purchase.

In the past Guylain has been able to determine the ID that was used to purchase the license and will let you know what it is.
