Question

I am a happy and satisfied user of BackYardEOS. I am having an issue trying to permanently change the specified: "Download Folder", "Plan Folder" and "TEMP Folder" - which are all identified and located in "Settings" - "Image Capture".

While I can change these default locations while actively using the program - and files are saved to the new locations that I specify - as soon as I exit BackYardEOS these locations reset to the default location of "MyDocuments\Pictures\BackyardEOS (and yes I did click both "apply" and "save"). I have even deleted these folders from my D: drive, and each time I go to start up BackyardEOS, it re-creates these directories. Is there a way around this.

Any help is appreciated - thanks

cheers - bob

This has happened before. where settings are not being saved. I can't remember exactly but it was due to a corrupted settings file. Please be patient and I am sure that Guylain will tell you. Or you could look back through the forum archives for how others were fixed.

Also, in the future please create a descriptive title for your post like "Settings not being saved". This makes it easier for someone with the same issue to find your thread.

Thanks.
