D5300 will not connect

Downloaded backyard Nikon today v 2.0.9 when I try to connect my d5300 it says Nikon sdk error camera not found knikmaidresult

This is a C++ library error.

Please reinstall all the c++ library.  Navigate to the BYN install folder and reinstall each vcredist_x86 files.

I have reinstalled all the c++ library and when I try to connect it is now saying camera not found make sure it's connected and turned on which it is

Which drivers are you using in BYN when trying to connect?

Above where it says camera not found it is saying Nikon 2015 /d5300 drivers initialised

Okay, now try with Nikon (not Nikon 2015) and see if this is connecting.

Have you perhaps upgraded the camera's firmware? If so, it is likely the reason why you are unable to connect to the camera when using the Nikon 2015 version of the SDK.
