How do I turn off the screen on my 7D2 while tethered?

I forgot that the 7D Mk II has the LCD display on the top of the camera and the LED display on the back. The lightbulb button probably turns of the LCD display.

I have a friend with that camera, who is also a BYE user. He recommended turning off Image Review on from the camera's menus as the fix that you are looking for.

Image Review didn't work.  I do thank you for trying.  The lightbulb didn't either.  I wonder how many layers of postit notes it will take to block the light. :)

The following is from page 60 of the 7D Mk II Instruction Manual.
 
After you press the <Info.> button a number of times, the shooting function settings will be displayed.
With the shooting function settings displayed, you can turn the Mode Dial to see the settings for each
shooting mode (p.469).
Pressing the <Q>) button enables Quick Control of the shooting function settings (p.61).
Press the <Info.> button again to turn off the display.
