REQUIRES INTERNET .... I am connected, How do i tell BYE i am connected?

Hello,

I am preparing for my first trip to dark skys. I would like to test BYE before i leave (in about 1 week). I have a trial code and tried to activate the trial but I can not get past activation.

To ensure that i did not mistype anything, I copied and pasted the information. Did i miss something? Am I doing something Wrong?

Well, Looks like i figured it out! I uninstalled 3.1.9 and installed 3.1.16.... I am up and running :-)

I am not sure why you would be installing an out-of-date version of BYE with a current Trial license. But the problem was probably that between 3.1.9 and 3.1.16 the owners switched to a new license server and after a while, the old license server was decommissioned.

I would suggest that you purchase a Classic or Premium license before you head off to your dark sky site. This is because the Trial license requires internet access to validate that the trial period has not expired. This occurs every time that BYE, with a Trial license, is started up.

This check does not happen once you have validated your paid license.

Yep, trials keys will only work work with the release.
