How do I get BYE to recognise my newly acquired EOS 200D

At the top of the Topic list for the BackyardEOS Forum are pinned topics. One of those topics is the following:

I believe that your 200D is not yet supported by BYE and cannot be until Canon releases a new version of their Software Development Kit to North American 3rd party developers. This can be several months after the camera is available for purchase in those markets.

It should work with this pre-release in the download section.
