Disable mount connection

How do I disable the mount connection completely? BYE kills the connection from APCC to my AP mount. Do I need to downgrade my license because I don't see any other way of shutting this off?

BYE does not connect to the mount unless you tell it to connect.

However, there was a bug that was fixed a few months ago where BYE was searching serial ports for a weather provider and was not correctly releasing those ports. This prevented other apps from connecting with the ports. I believe that this has been fixed in the current version (3.1.16).

Next time, please please please confirm which version you are using. If it is an old version, please install the free upgrade and re-test the app to try to re-create your issue.

exactly.  Do you connect your mount to BYE?  If not there is no connection to begin with.  

what makes you think the mount it's connected to BYE?

Thanks! I'll look for a new version, I downloaded bye in early July so that's probably it, it killed some serial port connections to my mount. I'm running version 3.1.11
