D5200 + Astrotortilla Capture Fails

Hello

I thought it was best to open a separate thread by Its worth nothing this issue may be directly related to the other issue I just posted about exposure times not changing from what is set on the physical camera itself.

So I have the TCP server listening on the default port 1499 and Astro Tortilla appears to connect just fine.  When I click "Capture & Solve" in astro tortilla I can see it start to take a image but then error out.

 

This is the last ERROR from my log file which appears several times in the log file.

I have tried to google this but not much comes up.

The 2 errors are related, BYN can't take exposures so taking exposures using AstroTortilla will also fail.

Please use the other thread you just created; once it is solved so will this issue

Is your camera in M (Manual) mode?

I would guess that the two posted errors are related. I would suggest getting BYN to work by itself before adding AT into the mix.

You're 100% spot on.  Fixing the other issue solved this one.  I've got BYN and Astro Tortilla playing nicely together.  I can't wait to try some plate solving.  Thanks so much for you help.  Great product, great support!!
