BackyardNIKON (and BackyardEOS) are both Windows .NET Applications, so there is no possibility of a Native Mac OSX version.

However, many Mac Users have successfully used BYN (and BYE) in properly configured VMs (both Parallels and other) running Win7 or Win10 (or even WinXP).

Use the Search feature of these Forums to find the various Threads with the Hints and Clues to perfect the settings of whichever VM you choose for your effort.

Let us know of your success.

This has been asked and answered several times.

BYN, and BYE, are written as .NET Windows applications. There is no native OSX version, nor (according to the authors) is their likely to be a native OSX version.

Several users do run BYE or BYN in a Windows virtual machine, such as Parallels, on their Mac, however.
