Question

I've got a Canon T3. I notice it takes twice as long as my exposure to view a preview image. So if I set my exposure to 30 seconds, it takes 60 seconds for the image to come back to me. I'll see the following screens:

1) Busy   x/60  (this counts down to 60)

2) Busy (I hear my camera shutter close, and see no status, but it stays for about 60 seconds)

3) Downloading (this takes about 10 seconds)

Is there a setting that causes this?

If you have Long Exposure Noise Reduction (LENR) turned on in the camera, then the camera will take a dark frame to apply to the preceding light frame. This doubles the time before an exposure can be downloaded to the PC. This setting is not typically used for AP and I would suggest turning it off.
