BYE doesn't save settings

Windows 10 just did another update and now BYE isn't saving settings again.

The last time this happened I had to reinstall BYE to get it to save settings again.  Is there something I can do to prevent this?

Sadly this is deep in Windows Security profile and I have no clue why MS Update keeps messing up with this.

May I ask where do you save settings?

It's a pure .net configuration file.

It is stored in c:\users\<<user>>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\BackyardEOSv3.1

Ah, the VirtualStore.  That was created back in the days when Microsoft started restricting access to the Program Files directory right?  I'll bet if I install in a directory other than Program Files, that will solve this problem.

That could cause other issues...Just give yourself full access to the VirtualStore folder.

Just checked.  I already had full access to that folder.  I'm installing in a different location.
