Question

I purchased BYEOS in 2015 and then got out of the "astronomy business". I now want to use BYEOS again and have downloaded it onto my laptop. When I open BYEOS on my laptop I get a small window asking for my Licence Key and my Identifier. I know my Identifier but I do not know my Licence Key. When I last used BYEOS I had this really long number that I thought was my licence key.

Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

When BYE 3.1 was released a new licensing scheme was instituted. Basically you use part of your old license as a discount coupon to purchase a new license for a $0 cost. This is described in the Upgrade tab of the BYE product page in the store. The new license key is kept on this web site and is accessible to you as "My Purchases" when you log in.

I am not sure what you do if you have not maintained your old license. That will be for Guylain to address.
