Install EOS Utility and try that first.  This should install any missing drives if any.  Let us know the it connects with EOS Utility.

Yes, that worked! I re-installed the EOS Utility and now BYE connects to my D600 with no problem.
Thanks for the help!

QDSLRDashboard uses a different connection method than does BYE. That said, lots of people use BYE with a T3i, which is compatible with BYE 3.1.12.

Connection issues are usually driver related or cable related. You also need to ensure that you are using a version of BYE that supports your camera. A new camera with an older version of BYE, for example, will not work.

What version of BYE? Windows? 32-bit or 64-bit? Does the camera show up in the Windows Device Manager when connected and powered on?

You should select the Canon or Canon215 SDK, not the Canon210 SDK. There is no need to try them all. If Canon works then Canon215 will also work for your camera.

You should test with a short USB cable, preferably the cable that came with the camera, to connect the camera directly to the PC. Only try longer cabling configurations once you know that the short cable works. Make sure that the cable is completely plugged in on both ends!

If all else fails, you should try to connect the Canon EOS Utility with your camera. If you cannot connect with BYE then you will not be able to connect with the EOS Utility either. This proves that the issue is somewhere between Windows and the camera. and not a problem with BYE.
