Please extend my Backyard EOS trial

I bought a BackyardEOS trial license in May and planned to use it on a trip to a dark site deep in the mountain, I activated the software before I went, because there is no internet, no cellphone communication in the wild. But I was surprised, when I set up everything it told me I would need internet connection to activate the software and every time. Is that a bug? I mean, astrophotographers need to access dark sites and that means we will be away from civilization. Where can we find internet in the wild? So I ended up doing everything manually. I never have the chance to test the software and now it expired.

Can you please give me a second trial license? Thank you.

The purpose of the trial license is to allow you a limited amount of time to test the software with your hardware and to determine if its features work well with your image capture workflow. Most of that testing can be done indoors during the day.

Because there are people who would try to extend the trial license period by setting their PC time back, the Trial license requires an Internet connection each time BYE is started. Once a permanent license (Classic or Premium) has been validated, BYE will happily operate without an internet connection. This has been discussed several times in other threads on this forum.
