Capture plan

swingin

Question

It's only showing the top box in the capture plan, can not see any others, can not scroll to get the 25 boxes to show. I just installed the 2.04 update. I still have the 1.0 and it works fine, any ideas? Thanks. Just installed 2.01 and it works fine too.

I just got the log file, thank you.

Sadly there is no error logged so it provided no clue :(

Have you tried another PC with the exact same version?

Yes, I'm on my desktop now, same outcome as my laptop.

Strangely, it seems likely to be related to your camera and the changes that were made to implement one of these features, which were recently added:

  • New Feature: Ability to disable a single plan item without having to set the number of exposures to 0 (Premium Edition).
  • New Feature: Ability to force a suspend before each plan item in a capture plan (Premium Edition).
  • New Feature: Ability to use up to 100 plan item lines instead of 25 (Premium Edition).

As a developer, but with no internal knowledge of BYN, my gut tells me that BYN is confused about how many rows are in the Capture Plan (1 instead of 100?). The vertical scroll bar could be disabled simply because Windows thinks that scrolling is not necessary.

It's all good, I'm plenty happy with the older version. Thanks to all who tried to help..

I hope that you will continue to work with Guylain to assist with a fix for your issue, even if you are content with using the older version.

Id be willing to try anything and everything to make the new version work :)

I thought that you used a commercial controls library. Times change!

Yes, for the base functionality, but when it comes to drawing them, most of them are overwritten with my own code.  This was the only way to have a complete night vision friendly app.

This has to be a bug somewhere because 2.0.1 seems to draw the controls properly, I'll go through the commits and look at what changed.

Does 2.0.2 work?

I can't find the 2.0.2 to download

Ok, I'll look at all commits made between 2.0.2 and 2.0.3.

Thanks

I see there was an update in early June, did this update solve the capture plan issue that I am having? Thank you, Don

That type of warning is not unusual for some overzealous anti-virus software. There should be a way for you to permanently tell it that BYN is OK to download and install.

Yeah I don't get it. All the other versions work fine, just not that one. I always check the {trust box} on the file insight after I download. I could have ran it anyway but Id rather be safe than sorry.
