T7i error message

Guest Gene Delaney

Question

Guest Gene Delaney

I just purchased a new EOS Rebel T7i about a month ago. The first time I used it there were no problems. Today, using it for just the 2nd time, the minute I turned it on and took a shot I got and error message saying the shot didn't take, to turn the camera off and on and reload the battery, didn't work, tried it two more times and then it worked, for awhile.  Got the same error message again, did what it said again, twice, it worked for a bit then it happened again but nothing I did worked. Anyone have any ideas or has this happened to you?

Gene

Since BYE does not yet support the T7i, I am assuming that you are trying to use the camera untethered when you get the issue that you describe.

I would say that either the memory card is not compatible with the camera or the camera is faulty. Since the camera is new, I would consider getting it replaced while under warranty.
