The Surface Pro is a full-on implementation of Windows 10 and sports a fully functional USB3 Port, so should have no specific problems with BYN.

You should have more than sufficient Screen Resolution, although you will likely want to set BYN to "Netbook Resolution" if you are wanting to use the On-screen Keyboard rather than the Physical Keyboard.

You should have decent CPU Resources.  And you should be OK on Battery Life - unless you are going to power a GuideCamera directly from this USB (which will need a Powered Hub if more than 1 device is in your setup).
 

As with everyone else, you will need to fulfill the prerequisites with .Net library installations.
