Then that PC is not up to date.  Make sure you do a full Windows update.

Also, you have activated this key more than 5 times already, it can not be activated more than that, the server stops it.

Do you have it activated on the PC you need to use for the trial?

There should be no need to get an additional license. Nobody else has had this issue, so it is likely that you are doing something incorrectly.

We are not looking over your shoulder so all we know about your issue is what is in your posts. This is to vague for anyone to provided a solution or workaround.

In your other post you said that you "logged in on other pc ok". How is this related to your issue of activating a trial license for BYE on a different machine. What is your definition of "logged in"? You did not say what you logged in to. Assumptions are either Windows or the O'Telescope web site, but it would help if you were clearer.

Have you read other threads on this site which are related to license activation difficulties? They may be helpful.

Can you please provide more details about what steps you are using to activate the license?

Things like Windows version, BYE version, steps to activate the license (are you typing the license key manually or using copy/paste), other steps that fall under the category of "all that I could think of". All of these can help lead to a resolution of your issue.

I have increased the number of times you can validate your trial key from 5 to 10.  You had reach the limit of 5 so subsequent attempts were denied.

Let me know if you have issued validating it... sometimes after a reset the key is actually denied to good.  If this is the case I'll generate a new one for you.

Same subject....my trial licence key wont activate....message says no internet connection but that is not the case. have disconnected windows defender and Kasperski but still no connection....can i try another licence key please.

Hi, you do not have the problem, your is a different kind of problem.  The error message is not even close to be the same.  Please start a new thread in the future so no to mix problems with the older post.

If you have Internet connection and you still get this error it means you have still have something that is preventing the software from reaching the activation server and a new key will not help, you will get the same error.  You definitely have something else that is blocking the connection.

REALLY!!!  You posted your key in a public forum!!!   I have banned people for life for sharing a key, even a trial key.  This is public forum!!!

If you are using a VPN, you may want to disable it while you are using the trial license.

As far as I know I am not using a VPN. Just checked and I don't have one. Sadly I have spent several hours trying to download this trial and still cant use it. Disappointing to say the least as it looks as if I would use it. I eventually downloaded the system and now have the desktop icon but cant open it. Somewhere I have read it says that if you try five times you are locked out.... I have certainly tried more than five times....Don't know what to do and unless admin can help I see nowhere else to go. My internet is certainly connected so the message I get cant be right.

In your case you have not been able to contact the sever the the key has not been activated yet and the 5 times hasn't not even started so this is not the issue.  

The issue remains the Internet connection.  I'm 110% percent about this.  Can you try on another PC to see if you get the same issue.  Since you are obviously connected to the Internet and the error message comes back saying you need an Internet connection you still have something that blocks it at you end since not even the server has a log of your key being attempted to be validated.  The test of trying on another PC may help find the root cause.

so ican use on my lap top if thats allowable? or do i need another key for it ?
