how to connect two cameras?

Hi,

 

I need help... I'm stuck and confused.. I want to connect two Nikon cameras. 

 

I'm running version 1.05 Premium and I think i can connect two Nkon cameras. 
I'm doing something wrong - I connect my first camera (D7100) which connects immediatley. 

Than I wnat to connect to my second camera (D5000). I start the second instance and push the connect - button. The program connects to the D7100 again.  How can I connect to the second camera ?

 

Both cameras are powered.

How are you launching the second instance of BYN? Are you using the Camera2 executable?

Yes, i click on the link BYN v1.0 (camera 2) on the desktop. Do I have to start another executable??

No, I believe that this is the correct way to start the 2nd instance.

Sorry that I cannot provide more info, I am a Canon user, not a Nikon user, and I have never tried to use BYE with 2 cameras.

thats ok, thanks astroman. I think most of the people don't use 2 cameras. Anyway, I do more research on that

Please download BYN 2.0.x and see the user guide in the install folder.  It describes step by step on how to connect 2 cameras.

 

However, Nikon will not allow connecting 2 cameras of same models (or a similar model is some cases).
