Twin canon 600d

Question

Looking for a bit of help, I have full version byeos,on a Panasonic toughbook ,Windows xp,, I can connect one camera ,no problems, I fire up byeos camera2,says initializing but wont connect 2nd Canon 600d...any ideas on how to solve,

Can the second 600D connect to the first instance of BYE without trying dual camera?  I just want to confirm if does connect before introducing dual camera setup.

 

There is no difference between either instances, it is the same program running.

Hi,first time trying to do twin camera set up,I have two desktop icons byeos and byeos camera 2..

I start byeos and have It working ok..I click on second camera byeos ,it initialized but wont connect,on one occasion it came up a box asking what camera to use giving details of two canon cameras, and it worked once,tried again but wont connect camera 2

Are you running 3.0.6?  You did not say.

 

Before connecting the camera to the second instance...

 

1) start the second instance and confirm it is running BYE 3.0.6 as well

2) go to Settings -> Advance Settings and check "Ask for camera drivers".

3) connect you camera.

 

If instance 1 can connect to the camera then instance 2 should have no problems; it is the same software; just a different desktop icon to ensure they both have different configuration file.
