Scripting & Looping a shooting sequence

kbmilburn

Question

I am interested setting up an automated exposure sequence to shoot the 2017 eclipse.    I would like to bracket in such a way that the camera runs through several bracket sets that each have multiple shutter speeds.  After each bracket executes, change the ISO or F/stop if needed and move on to the next.  Any way to do this with the existing app?  Perhaps is there a more flexible scripting feature on the horizon for BYN?  One straightforward way to get to what I need might be to simply expand the number of lines in the sequence programming feature from 25 to 100 or more.  Any thoughts out there for a BYN nube?

There is an Feature Suggestion Box forum under Application Support to make those types of suggestions.

If BYE doesn't have the features to do the kind of complex exposure plan that you are looking for to shoot the 2017 Solar Eclipse, maybe Eclipse Orchestrator will do what you need. It supports DSLR and CCD cameras, and has a free version.
