BYEOS and Maxim DL

Question

Complete newbie having issues working with using BYEOS for image capture and Maxim DL v 5.24 namely converting CR2 files for DL use. Have been trying to use DL batch convert to FITS, but no luck saving. Tried converting CR2 to TIF with Photoshop and then using batch convert, but still no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

When you say "No Luck", what is actually happening ??

You fail to save, using whatever App to convert from CR2, in FITS or TIFF format ??

MaximDL refuses to Open the FITS or TIFF files ??

MaximDL will Open the Files, but the data is wrong ??  In what way ??

MaximDL will Open the Files, but something fails during the Calibration / Registration / Stacking process ??

Other ??

I go into DL batch save and convert, select 8 darks (CR2) for example, select convert to FITS, use any size format (8,15,32 bit,IEEE), no auto stretch, uncompressed, and get "Files in selection list box could not be saved ". Get the same result for the same eight CR2 darks converted to TIF in PS.

Can you view the .CR2 files in another Image Management App, say Canon ZoomBrowserEX or IrfanView or PhotoShop ??  If so, then no problem with BYE.

It sounds like your issue is solely with MaximDL, or with the config of the Directory you are trying to Save into...
