Website Page Sizing Issue

s3igell

Question

Today is the first that I've had access to my FullHD Monitor since the Website Redesign.

While not a significant Issue, the current Page Code has a slight issue determining the Proper "Full Width" of a Full-screen Browser ( IE11, Chrome 49, Firefox 45 ).

It is generating a Page Width that is just "slightly too large" - large enough to trigger the Horizontal Scrollbar.  This is probably because the Browser Sizer routine is failing to account for the Vertical Scrollbar which is present for ALL O'Telescope Web Pages - even the "fresh" Post a New Topic" page.

The additional Horizontal Scrollbar becomes a bit of a challenge when attempting to Remote Control a Browser Page on a Smaller Desktop Screen (say, of a Tablet or AP Imaging Laptop).

It'd be Great if you had a trick to quickly address this...

Thanks for pointing it out.

I just made minor css change.  The scroll bar is now hidden when full size and will only show up when viewport < 960px.

It is nicer for the most part but still has some issues when the view port is < 960px.  However, the entire site was designed for a minimum viewport of 960px.
