Scope Chooser Drop-Down

Would it be feasible/reasonable to add a drop-down "scope" selector, similar in functionality as the current ability to select filters?

I have a few different scopes that I image with. I've tried simply naming the target as [scope]_[Target], but usually don't realize I left that off until a week later and can't remember what scope I used that night .

Having a drop-down may help remind me to name files more appropriately

If I ever expand on this I would probably go with a 'gear profile' concept; which would include scope, mount, focuser, etc.

So you want to be able to have a scope identifier in the file name?  I assume that you mean an identifier for the optical tube as opposed to the mount (what ASCOM calls the scope). Interesting!

Yes, I was thinking optical tubes - leave it to the Guru for the better solution!

I like the "gear profile" - it would benefit folks that can keep track of their scopes and wouldn't think to take advantage in other ways!

The "gear profile" concept is more flexible and would help to keep the file name from getting too long.
