BackyardNIKON+Nikon Z6III+WINDOWS 11 it does not work

Question

Hi, some time ago I bought BackyardNIKON and I was working with a Nikon D700 with a homemade adapter connected to a PC with WINDOWS 10 x64, and everything worked perfectly. Now I have installed windows 11 and I have a Nikon Z6III connected in USB-C, I tried to open BackyardNIKON with all the options of the Z series (eg: Z6-Z6II-Z8-Z9 etc. but the program does not connect. Can you tell me if I have any chance of making it work? Thanks and Regards

BYN can only control models of cameras that are supported by the Nikon SDK. This means that new cameras will not work with BYN until BYN incorporates a version of the SDK that contains support for that new model.

Since the Z6 III was released after the most recent pre-release version of BYN it is not yet supported. You only need to be patient and wait for a new version of BYN to be released. That is assuming that Nikon decides to support that new model in their SDK.

Where are you with Z6 III?

Nowhere yet. Nikon has not released the SDK for the Z6 III yet. This is the list of the Z models that Nikon has an SDK for as of today.
