BYN Download error

When trying to download the new version I keep getting an error: c\program files

(x86)\backyardnikonv100\binaryrivers.backyardnikon.start.camera1.exe

deletefile failed:code 5

 

if I ignore that I continue to get similar errors.

 

I also keep getting the message at the beginning to close all file but none are open.

 

where am I going wrong?

If you have Windows 7 or later, .NET 4.0 should be installed automatically and should be updated automatically by Windows Update. So the way to update .NET 4.0 is to check Windows Update for un-installed updates for .NET 4.0

Thanks guys....deleted the existing BYN and then uploaded  1.0.3 and works fine....thanks again.

I would try logging off and then logging back on again. Then re-install BYN. There may be some orphan instance of BYN running without showing a window and logging off should kill it.

Make sure Microsoft .Net 4.0 is fully updated.

 

Install BackyardNIKON in a separate folder and try again.  This issue is an install or runtime error.
