Focussing stops working after taking a snap

jellison

Question

Strange issue I'm seeing in version 3.2.3 with a Canon 5D mark II where the focussing buttons will stop working.  To reproduce:

1) Power on camera and connect BackyardEOS.

2) Select Frame and Focus to activate the live view.

3) Try the focussing buttons - they should work fine

4) Do Snap Image

5) Press one of the focus buttons

6) Press Live View

7) Focus buttons no longer work

If you omit step 5 the focus buttons keep working.

Strange, thanks for looking anyway.  I'll attach the log file in case that helps.  Line 628 is my step 5 and then step 6 is line 629, after that the mouse focus clicks can be seen on lines 645 onwards but the camera is ignoring them.

I'll have more of a play with the camera settings as well, maybe I've stuffed something up in there without realising.

You're not using the correct SDK/Drivers when connecting your 5D Mk 2.
