This version does not save any changes to the settings within "Settings", e.g.: language....initial camera choice...etc. etc. , while it worked with the previous 32-bit version (2.1.3)

For the record, I use:

- Windows 10 x64

- Nikon D700

- ASCOM platform

- SkyWatcher StarAdventurer GTi mount

- SynScan Pro App 2.4.31

- "Snap" connection cable from bipolar-stereo to 10-pole Nikon connector for taking photographs

- USB connection cable from Nikon to PC

- USB connection cable from StarAdventurer GTi to PC

This has happened to a few BYE users. This was apparently due to non-standard permissions on the installation folder and it was solved by re-installing the software to a different folder.

Thanks 1000 astroman133, the original installation wanted to install it on C:\Program Files\BackyardNIKON\, I uninstalled and reinstalled on C:\BackyarNIKON\ and that's how it works... great bro😁

Yes, Microsoft has time and again tightened down the Permissions on the "Executable" Directory Trees, while at the same time insisting that Developers "follow the rules" for Executable placement.  And, at the same time, Microsoft Windows OS Install Routines have shifted the default Permissions - not always in-sync with their own Guidelines and Permissions rules.

I'm sure that Guylain has his hands full with updating his Installer Library and Build / Install Applications because of this...
