Can I control the ISO and Shutter Speed in Backyard EOS

kdconwell

Question

Thanks

Kevin

I need help on how to access it if can, and I also am confused about PHD in his video. Is the camera used at the camera for the dithering. I was sold a separate camera zwo for guiding but it looks like he is doing the guiding with the dslr.

Please post your question(s) about BYE in the BackyardEOS Forum. Please explain fully. Not sure what video you are talking about or who you are directing your questions to. This seems to be your first post on the O'Telescope forums. Did you send your post to the wrong web site?

It is not normal to use a DSLR for dithering or guiding. The guide camera can either be attached to a piggybacked telescope, or to an off-axis guider attachment on the imaging telescope. The guiding app - PHD2, for example - also does dithering, as directed by the imaging app since it needs to be performed between exposures.
