Virus Detected

Hi,

I am trying to download the trial of the EOS version but my laptop says Virus Detected and won't download it.

Can anyone offer any advice please?

Accept the download and move on. Antivirus software simply can't keep up and it throws that warning. To be clear, it did not detect a virus, it's just telling you that it can't verify the download.

This said, if you download from O'Telescope website, the download is safe.

Some Antivirus software is overly cautious and prevents the download of software that it does not recognize. You may be able to whitelist software from otelescope.com so that it allows the download. This situations happens a few times a year but has never been due to a real, verified virus being part of the download or install.
