Couple of things then just for clarification:

If I go into Device Manager I can see two cameras as portable devices and double clicking on them gives me their connections: i.e. Port_#0001.Hub_#0005, which is a different configuration to the host location in the user manual?

To use two (or more) cameras I'm guessing that each should be connected to the PC in the same manner i.e. both through Shoestring DSUSB devices, USB or similar but not mixed?

Many thanks

Yes, both cameras connected to the PC.

The design is simple.  Both application instance should have a separate camera connected to it and must be operational on its own; if not is will not work.

The dual camera config will have 1 instance (the master instance) send the take picture command to the other instances (slave instances) as if you had press the "start capture" on these slave instances as well... but it is done automatically.

Hope this helps,

Regards.
