Hello,

I cannot get into the software due a license failure.

I've a key and dowloaded the sofware..

What am i doing wrong?

I cannot believe that you ignored the warnings at the top of the page where it says"NEVER POST YOUR KEY IN ANY PUBLIC FORUM, INCLUDING THE O'TELESCOPE SUPPORT FORUM ::: IF YOU DO YOUR KEY WILL BE DEACTIVATED WITHOUT NOTICE!" You would not post your Social Security number on a public forum. Why would you think that is is OK to post your software license keys?

What you did wrong.... you posted your key on a public forum!!!

This key has now been deactivated. I have zero tolerance this, it's reckless beyond words.

Was clearly not thinking straight.

Although the problem was there, any idea what could have solved the issue.

Again sorry for sharing license key here, it was really stupid.

Doesn't matter anymore, your keys has been deactivated.

A class error is a c++ redistribution missing or .net not up to date on your computer.

I've tried to find a solution for this c++ and .net not being up to date. Did an update on both of them.

Has no effect, is there anything else that may cause this problem?

I understand these lincense are deleted, but i would love to give the software a try.

The Invalid class error still comes up.

The things i've done since you told me its an .NET not being up to date AND/OR the C++ missing.

1- I've installed .NET framework 4.8

2- I've installed MS Visual C++ 2015-2022 14.34.31938

Those are the latest versions, Or should i install any earlier version specific. Would love to have the program running. 

If i have to start a new Topic for this question let me know.

BYE is compiled against .Net 4.5.2.

Do you have another computer to try on, just as a test?

Are you typing your key manually or using cut&paste from the website? You should use cut&paste.

The letter O looks deceivingly similar to the number 0 and the letter I looks deceivingly similar to the number 1.

Just tried it on my wife's computer, and it works perfect!

Don't know whats wrong on my computer. but i think i'll try a total new installation on Windows.

Start from sketch is the most simple solution i guess.

Or may you have another thing to try?

It turns out that .NET installations are quite complicated. .NET 4.8 does not replace .NET 4.5.2. They can both be installed side-by-side and just because you have 4.8 does not mean that you have what BYE needs.
