Trial license activation error. Tells me to check my internet connection and disable my antivirus. I enter the received trial key from my personal account. The Internet works, there are no blockages. I'm running Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 with 2022 updates.

You also need to be sure that your camera is in the list of Canon EOS cameras that are supported by BYE.
