O'Telescope offers a free, fully-functional 30-day Trial license to give you the opportunity to test that your cameras are able to connect and to give you time to become familiar with the program before purchasing a permanent license. I am not sure why you bought a copy before testing that it would work for you. Once you have the permanent license, there is no way to return it so they cannot offer a refund of the purchase price.

Are you using a USB cable plugged into the USB port on the camera?

Does Windows recognize the camera when it is plugged in to the PC and turned on? It should be visible in the Windows Device Manager. If not, make sure that the USB cable is tightly connected and that the cable is known to be good. Try another short, directly-connected cable. Don't try to connect through a USB hub until you have verified that the camera works when directly connected. If Windows does not recognize the camera and load the low-level driver, there is no way that BYN will be able to connect.

If the cameras support WiFi, have you disabled it in the cameras menus? BYN and the Nikon SDK do not support WiFi and having it enabled prevents a wired connection from being established.

Finally, make sure that no other applications are trying to connect to the cameras. They will prevent BYN from being able to connect.

Let us know how it goes.

I couldn’t find the option for. Trial so I went on and purchased. I have used my camera with Nikon software on this computer once before so I don’t think it’s a pc issue but I will check.

i appreciate your feedback. I will let you know how it works out. Thank you.
