Forgot O Telescope password

Have forgotten my O Telescope password how can I recover it?

In the log in dialog is a 'Forgot My Password' link. Click on it to establish a new password. It uses your email address to send you a message that let's you set a new password.

I am permanently logged in with password saved, all I see in the password box is stars. To change my password, it wants me to put in my old password first or am I looking in the wrong place. My free trial period ran out, so I bought the classic version, but I can't activate it.

If you are already "permanently" logged in on the site then you do not need to know your password or to change your password. Just click on "My Purchases" and then "Orders" at the top of the page to get to the panel that displays your license keys.

For future reference, passwords on the O'Telescope website are encrypted, I can't see your human-readable password, only the encrypted one. This said, the only way to retrieve a password is to use the 'Forgot password' feature, and this will force you to change your password.

I think that the OP was trying to change his password rather than using the Forgot Password feature. Neither turned out to be necessary since his browser
"remembered" his logon.
