Please follow the guidelines for posting to these support forums.

1) If your issue is with BackyardEOS and a Canon camera, please add your post to the BackyardEOS Forum, not the General forum.

2) Always tell us which camera model you are using and please provide all three numbers that make up the version of BYE that you are using, like 3.2.2.

3) Tell us the  steps to re-create the problem.

4) Tell us what you have tried. "I have done all the suggested ways" is not useful because it provides no details regarding the steps that have failed.

5) Never post your license key to this forum or any other forum.

The most common reasons for connection failures are... a faulty camera, a bad or loose cable, the camera has WiFi enabled.

Did you try a different camera? Did you try a different USB cable? Did you disable WiFi in the camera? Did you try BYE on a different computer? These would all be common troubleshooting steps to isolate the cause of your connection issue.

Does Windows recognize the camera when it is plugged into the computer and powered on? If so it should show up in the Windows Task Manager. If Windows does not see the camera then there is no way that BYE will be able to connect. If the camera has WiFi and it is enabled, the camera will not be recognized by Windows when connected via USB. This is the most likely cause. It has been reported dozens of times here on this forum.

If the above does not solve your issue, please post to this thread what steps you have tried and what you have seen.

Thanks,
