Question
Krawler14
been running into issues with Collimation, I always thought it should be done at magnification, but when I collimate using my 2.5x barlow and 19mm eyepiece, then take that off and attach my imaging train ( focal reducer and 1100d) my collimation is off and you can definitely see it in the photos.
so im going out tonite and hoping to get collimated with my imaging train attached, ive noticed that when I defocus a star in BYEOS, the result isn't really that sharp.. I have a hard time seeing the inner rings of the defocused star and this makes it difficult to really collimate nicely. are there any settings I can play with to help with this in live view? or tools in BYEOS to help with collimation?
thanks for any help!
