EOS not working in imaging mode

mmetwally

Question

After many months with no problem. Backyard EOS suddenly stopped working in imaging mode. It works fine in Frame and focus mode but the minute I switch to imaging mode I get an error message saying the the imaging session had been cancelled. I am using a Canon 40 D and I have not changed any of the settings. Please help.

Thanks for the log files; you have low disk space and this is why it is not working in imaging mode.

You should upgrade to 3.1, it is free and you can disable that check in advance settings... but if you run out of disk space you get no warnings :(

Keep us posted,

Please send me the full log files; instructions here.

I should be able to tell exactly why it stopped.  Since this has worked all those months it is either a camera setting or a defective camera/cable.  My guess is a camera setting which can be fixed in just a few minutes.

Astroman 133. I am not sure what you mean about posting in the how to section. It may be I responded to that section by mistake. I will stick to this thread.

Honest mistake I'm sure... in any case, I have deleted your post in the how-to section to keep that section clean and in context.

Thanks.
