Support for EOS 750D / Rebel T6i

Question

Hi,

 

I have just purchased a  EOS 750D (T6i) and getting the errors connecting as well.

 

Any Ideas?

I should be releasing 3.1.4 towards the end of July with with T6i support.

 

In the meantime if you want to download link with the T6i drivers send me an email to support@otelescope.com and I'll send you a link.

I am assuming that since the T6i is not listed as a supported model (see the Camera Support Grid at the bottom of this page) that the Canon SDK that is distributed with BYE does not recognize that model.  It usually takes Canon some time, perhaps several months, to release a new version of an SDK with support for new camera models. Then, Guylain has to apply to Canon to get the SDK and finally to test BYE against the new SDK and camera.  All this takes time, so you need to be patient.

I bought BYE after it was supporting the EOS 760D. BYE is connecting, but controlling the camera is not working.
