This time the update was done in under 1 minute and totally painless. With 3.1 it wasn't my day, I guess.

Might want to point out that this WILL install over the top of 3.1.

 

Fine by me, preferred even (vs. redoing all the settings) but perhaps not expected based on all the RCs and other versions installing in their own space.

Yes, just as any other minor x.x.1 release since 1.0.x.

 

Only major release x.x installs in a separate folder.
