If you have an old, multi-line license key from version 3.0, then you need to follow the upgrade instructions at the bottom of this page.

If you can see your license key in the "My Purchases" area of your profile on this web site then copy it to the Windows Clipboard and paste it into the license validation dialog. You also need to enter an Identifier, which is the case-sensitive username that was used to purchase the license key.

What is version 3.1?  Please specify all 3 digits.

I just tried your key and identifier as the appear in your "My Purchases -> Orders" and it validated for me.

All key validation are usually due to user entry error.  Make 100% sure you cut&paste your key and identifier. The identifier is case sensitive.

It is 3.1.18.

I did do a copy and paste.  And got another error message about length of key.

Then I noticed that the paste was sensitive to start location.  It actually was moved over one space and then that also resulted in dropping the last digit.

Fixing both of those manually got it to accept the key.

The only other thing that I could have been doing wrong was confusing the ZERO and O.  I assume that on my license key those are both O's???  The zero would have a slash through it???

Anyway...it works.  Now to connect it to the camera.

Thanks.

Vladimir
