EDSInitialiseSDK() ERROR!

Having downloaded the trial version of Backyard EOS, I can't get past this error message.  My Canon 450D is on and the cable is connected. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, you're not doing anything wrong, it seems to be an installation issue.  I've have quite a few reported issues of this recently.

Please uninstall, and re-install in a separate folder, reboot, and try again.

But before you do, can you please send me your current log file?

I'm not the original issuer, but I'm facing the same error. As you requested before, to the other user, I'm enclosing here my log file.

Now, I'm going to follow your instructions to uninstall and try again, fingers crossed.
