Update to latest version of bye

Hi I purchased the premium version back in 2015 and have been using it since then but I want to update it to the latest version, the version I have is 3.1.16, is there a newer version and can I update to it free? If so how, I opened Byeos and after clicking on the lock icon at the top right hand side of the page, I then got a screen asking for the licence key, which I input along with various user names but after hitting the validate key all I got was a message saying no symbols identified, what I need is an idiots guide to do this. Can you help please?

3.1.16 is the latest release version of BYE. There is a pre-release version, 3.1.17 RC2, in the Pre-releases are on the Download page. It has been stable.

For upgrade instructions go to the BYE product page in the Store. Scroll down the page and select the Upgrade tab. Then find the correct set of instructions based on what version you are upgrading from.

Upgrades have always been free.

To enter a license key you need to log onto the O'Telescope web site with the same username that you used to purchase your license. Then click in your username in the upper right corner of the page and select My Purchases from the pop-up menu. Swipe the mouse across the correct license key and copy it to the Clipboard. Paste it into the License Validation dialog in BYE and enter your username for this web site as Identifier. The Identifier is case sensitive.
