Possibly to enlarge FWHM

Salut Guylain,

I was wondering if it would be possible to enlarge (when needed) the FWHM numbers  on the Frame and Focus page?  

As it is colder now, I run the laptop inside the car and it is not always possible to park right next to the mount while imaging

When checking focus  through the night (focusing manually)  it is quite hard to see the FWHM numbers from a distance with the laptop in the car. 

I have tried to move the laptop around with me but it is very impractical and the USB cable get accidentally disconnected too easily in the process.

I feel this feature would really help focusing.

Magnifier App!  Why didn't I think of that?  Learn something new everyday.

 

Rick, would love to have the motorized focuser.  Only money, right?

Good idea!  Maybe as a pop-up (I normally hate those) that covers the whole screen.  I sometimes image from 100 feet away with the laptop inside where it is warm and toasty (with a frosty beverage).  It'd be great to be able to see it if I have to adjust from initial focus.  As is, I'm usually yelling back and forth with one of the kids with the door or window open.

Another option is a motorized focuser that can be controlled from the laptop, without ever leaving the car...I'm just sayin'.

Have you considered using a magnifier app? There's one included in Windows 10 and there are free 3rd party apps for earlier versions of Windows.
