Backyard Nikon 1.04

Question

Hi,

i am using Backyard Nikon 1.04 on my MacBookPro  (using Boot-Camp) most of the time,  and sometime on VMware Fusion 8  (on the same computer),  the same version of Windows 10.

The problem is that each time i switch from Boot-Camp to VM,  it display the license and ask for my user.  It worked 5 or more times,  but now,  it said it not work because of to many activation.

What is the solution to this license issue,  it seem that switching from bare metal to virtual  with the SAME  windows OS  deactivate the license.  Should i buy two license for the same computer to fix that, it is possible to install two license on the same Backyard Nikon 1.04 to fix that, if not what can be done to fix that ?

Bye

This is not a license issue, but rather how it is designed.

Each time you do the switched your computer fingerprint (for lack of a better word) changes and this causes the licensing server (by design) to see that computer as a different computer and causes the license to validate again.

Trial keys can be activated a maximum of 5 times and purchase keys a maximum of 20 times. I see 20 activations for your key going back to Feb 2015 so it worked 20 times and then boom :(

That 20 limit is only there to prevent mass sharing, in your case I can see that you have reached that limit organically so I have increased it to 100.  If you ever reach that limit again organically I'll increase it again; no worries.

Regards,
