Camera won't connect

I have Backyard EOS Classic version 3.2.3.  My Cannon 60D camera will  not connect.  I'm using the Digic 3,4,5,6,7,8.  I checked the suggestions but nothing helps.

I can see from your previous posts that your camera used to connect. When did it stop connecting?

How do you have the the camera cabled to the PC with a USB cable?

Is the cable good?

Are you sure that the cable ends are fully seated into the camera and the PC?

Does Windows see the camera and list it in the Windows Device Manager?

Do you have any other software that might be preventing BYE from connecting, like the Canon EOS Utility?

The more information that you can provide, the more quickly some of the causes for the connection failure can be eliminated.

My mistake.  I'm using an external power supply for the camera and forgot to switch from the regular battery to the external source in the menu.  Sorry.  Thank you for your reply.
