Keys for version 3.1 or later of BYE are always available on this web site, but you need Windows TLS (Transport Level Security) version 1.2 to communicate with the O'Telescope servers to validate your license. This is required just one time. TLS 1.2 is already installed on Windows 10 and later. You may have to manually download and install it from Microsoft if you are running an older version.

If your previous license is an older, multi-line license then you need to follow the Upgrade instructions that are accessible from the page footer to use your old license to get a new license. This is a 1-time operation.

Here are the steps to register BYE with your 3.1 and later license key:

  • Log in with the username that you used when you purchased your license.
  • At the top of the web page is a blue banner / menu bar. Select My Purchases -> Orders. This will show you your license key(s).
  • Swipe across your permanent BYE license key and Copy it to the Windows Clipboard.
  • Open BYE and Paste the key into the License Key field in the validation dialog.
  • Enter the username as the Identifier. Be sure to enter it exactly since it is case sensitive.

That's it. Easy Peasy!
