What happens if you try to dither with BYE and the SGP? The SGP does not have declination motors.....it only tracks in RA.
Will BYE still dither, but just the RA axis?
Any info will be helpful.

I could find no information about that product. Do you mean the iOptron SkyGuider Pro? BYE and BYN support interfacing with multiple autoguiding applications (PHD2, MetaGuide, and MGen) as dither

If you are using PHD2 as your dither provider, it is PHD2 that is doing the dithering. BYE is just telling PHD2 to start dithering and waiting until the dithering is complete before starting the next
