EOS Utility already has it's own Controls/Settings for whether it Launches on Boot-Up or On Camera Detection or Neither.

BYE already has the ability to detect whether EOS Utility is running in the Background (Settings / Advanced / EOS Utility Check).

Beyond that, once you start using BYE on a regular basis, your workflow will evolve such that you will already have EOS Utility set to Disabled or else Terminated.

Its not always easy to have one Program even positively identify the Main Process of another Program - let alone Terminate It (something that Windows and OSX and Linux and all other OSs avoid in order to keep "Separation of Processes" - Good for Security).

(Note:  There is a separate Main-level Sub-Forum specifically for "Feature Requests".)

EOS utility actually doesn't cause any conflict with BYE, as long as you turn off the alert in BYE settings. It's just that you can't connect with both at the same time. First one to connect wins (both of which are manual clicks).

You can run with Settings --> Advanced Settings --> uncheck "EOS Utility Check"

and not worry about EOS utility running or not.
